Eindhoven Airport generates 10% growth in 2015

Eindhoven Airport saw the number of passengers grow by 10% over the year 2015, compared to 2014. 4,333,000 passengers made use of the airport, which is 407,000 more than in 2014 (3,926,000 passengers). The growth in the number of flight movements in 2015 was 5%: 30,360 in 2015 compared to 28,900 in 2014.

The 10% passenger growth is the result of an increase in the number of destinations: flights went to 78 destinations in 2015, plus the occupancy rate increased further per flight. Eindhoven Airport is expecting 4.6 million passengers to make use of the airport in 2016. Air traffic is expected to rise to 32,950 flight movements in 2016.
