Eindhoven Airport wins Zoover Award

Eindhoven Airport has been voted the most popular airport in the Netherlands by visitors to the authoritative consumer website Speed, service and atmosphere are three key reasons why passengers increasingly prefer to fly from Eindhoven Airport. Over the past year, the number of passengers has risen by 10% compared with 2012 and by 15% in the first quarter of this year.

Last year, Eindhoven Airport opened its brand-new terminal and hotel. The new construction consists of a modernised forecourt measuring 2,000 m2 with additional retail and catering facilities, a 2,700 m2 extension to the arrival hall, 2,700 m2 additional office space and the 120-room Tulip Inn Eindhoven Airport hotel. The terminal has been completely refurnished in order to be more customer-friendly and to speed up passenger services.

In 2013, Eindhoven Airport also launched a Facebook VIP programme, a completely revamped website and on-line parking service in order to further improve the assistance given to passengers in preparing for their flights.

The number of destinations in and outside Europe from Eindhoven Airport has been expanded to more than 70.
