Eindhoven Airport also makes wearing a mouth cap mandatory in parking lots, at Car Rental and at General Aviation

Eindhoven Airport further expands measures against the spread of corona. From Thursday October 15, the airport will also make it mandatory to wear a mouth cap in its parking lots P1 and P4. In addition, this obligation also applies in the Car Rental building. In the General Aviation terminal (private and business aviation), wearing a mouth mask will also be mandatory for all passengers and employees from tomorrow. The obligation applies to everyone from the age of 13. In addition, the catering industry in the terminal for the security check take away; there are no more seats. McDonald's will also be taken away; the Drive Thru will remain open. From 22.00 hours today, the national guidelines will be followed for retail at the airport.

The reason for this is the government's stricter corona measures. The additional obligations at the airport will be added to the already existing measures, such as keeping a 1.5 meter distance, the hygiene measures and carrying a completed health declaration, and the extra communication about this to travellers.

Eindhoven Airport communicates the corona measures that apply at the airport in various ways. Research conducted in September on behalf of the airport among 332 travelers shows that 84 percent of them rated the coroname-measures of Eindhoven Airport as good to excellent. As early as June 15, Eindhoven Airport made wearing a mouth cap in the terminal mandatory for all passengers (13 years and older) and airport staff. In addition, access to the airport terminal was limited to passengers and staff only. These measures will be maintained.
